SE Collective and F&S Festival: That’s a wrap!
How are you doing? This is the last update we’re gonna make in our Square Enix Collective campaign and we’re really happy with it so far. It’s been a hell of a ride but today is the last day and we have to keep working on The Fall of Lazarus.
We’ve had a busy week prepping for Fun and Serious Festival, a video game festival located in Bilbao (Spain). We could showcase The Fall of Lazarus: The First Passenger. A lot of people came by and played our demo. We talked with them and we got a lot of useful feedback! We were surprised by the number of young players we had. We know we’re developing a deeply narrative exploration and puzzle game and that’s something not so appealing for some audiences but we were happily wrong! They loved solving puzzles with their friends and unveiling the truth behind the mysteries aboard the USSC Lazarus. We could also meet some great people from the Spanish indie scene. From Beautifun Games (creators of Nihilumbra and Megamagic: Wizards of the Neon Age) to Sindiecate Arts (a young and promising Spanish indie publisher) we could chat with a lot of nice and interesting people!
But now it’s time to go back to The Cave as we love calling it. We have a lot of work to do in order to finish the game. We’re almost done with the coding of all the puzzles in the game but now we have to assemble all the scenes together and keep texturizing the rest of the assets.
